The 8th European Meeting on 3D Geological Modelling is the forum for researchers, practitioners and policymakers working on subsurface geological modelling across Europe and beyond.
The Community will meet in Rome (20–23 April
2027), bringing together Geological Surveys, academia, and industry to share
knowledge and
experiences on 3D/4D subsurface modelling and strengthen collaboration across Europe and
beyond.
The Meeting is expected to address various scientific themes, such as resources and applied
geomodelling, urban subsurface and societal applications, as well as transboundary 3D geological
modelling initiatives. Discussion will also explore modelling concepts, methods and uncertainty,
data-driven and AI-supported workflows, open-source tools, and the latest advancements in
communication and visualization of geological models.
Please note that the venue has a maximum capacity of 100
participants. Consequently, attendance
may be limited to a designated number of representatives per organization.
Registration is free of charge.
